San Antonio Spurs Do NOTHING, but WINNING

The Spurs had a losing record of 65 days since 1997, when they drafted Tim Duncan from Wake Forest first overall. Houston Rockets was the closest among NBA teams who had 1,007 days of losing, Dallas Mavericks had 1,027 days.

Since they drafted Tim Duncan, Spurs won five titles and six trips to the NBA Finals. In the last 21 years the Spurs won 50+ games 19 times. Duncan was the MVP back to back in 2002-03 and Gregg Popovich won Coach of the year three times.

After the Big Three gone the Spurs ensure this season that they have a winning record with 42-29 fifth best in the West, nine game winning streak. They led by All Star Lamarcus Aldridge and Demar DeRozan who acquired from a trade with the Toronto Raptors.

Popovich always a Coach of the Year candidate yearly, the reason he didn’t win it all is the voters got tired.

San Antonio Spurs the model of success by any NBA team or sports. The coaches around the league was come from San Antonio, Mike Budenhozer of Milwaukee Bucks, Brett Brown of Sixers, Steve Kerr of Warriors played with POP, James Borrego of the Hornets.
