The Jacksonville Jaguars star running back Leonard Fournette called himself Tim Duncan. He said this after the team trading players.
“I don’t know why they (Jaguars) [are] trading everybody! I’m here though…listen I’m Tim Duncan of the Jags! Believe that, call me Timmy from now on!”
The Jaguars a quarter away to be in Superbowl two years ago with Blake Bortles as the quarterback lost many players likes of Jalen Ramsey, Aj Bouye, Calais Campbell, Dante Fowler, Marcell Darius, Malik Jackson, Aaron Colvin, Tashaun Gibson, and Barry Church. They cut Bortles and traded for Nick Foles last year but his magic didn’t come with him to be the Jaguars savior as he injured in the very first game of the season.
The fourth overall pick in 2017 run for 1040 yards and 9 touchdowns. He also catches 340 yards for one score. An impressive run for him leading the Jags in the playoffs to reach the AFC Championship that almost beat up the New England Patriots. Leonard Fournette played only for eight games in 2018 due to injury. Despite failed to find the end zone in 2019 which the Jaguars recorded only a 6-10. Fournette runs for 1152 yards and received 500 yards for three scores.
He referred himself to Tim Duncan as the Spurs legend never engaged in any trade talks throughout his career. Maybe Fournette wants to be Jaguar for life but first, he needs to be a winner which Duncan did in his career.
