With one of the worst defense from the past years. The team looks average if Aaron Rodgers isn’t playing well. Most of the games they won are with Rodgers heroic.
In Week One of the season against the Chicago Bears, they allowed only three points in a 10-3 win. They sacked Mitch Trubisky five times and the most needed stop. With 16 yards away to score, former Bears linebacker Adrian Amos intercepted Trubisky in the last two minutes of the game.
The secondary only allowed 228 passing yards and 46 rushing yards. They don’t let the rushers dictated the momentum. Even a three-point score was from six plays that gained 16 yards that starts from Green Bay own 36.
The force the Bears offense to punt eight times. They pressure Chicago quarterback that can’t convert even a 3rd and 5. It’s too early to tell but it was a good sign for the Packers secondary. Which veterans like Blake Martinez, Za’ Darius Smith and newly pickup Amos is keep ing the unit strong together.
