Trade Rumors: Clippers interested for Thaddeus Young

The Los Angeles Clippers have been favorite to win the 2020 Larry O’Brien trophy in June. With the hell of a run they give to the Golden State Warriors before losing in six games they add a champion and finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard. Prior to the signing, they make a move that sends Paul George to the Clippers an MVP candidate. With almost a star-studded defensive roster they had, it’s right for them to be in discussions of a contender.

According to Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers are looking for another physical big man or another playmaker. NBA sources believe the Clippers looking for a player like Chicago Bulls forward Thaddeus Young. As they are looking for a potential Finals matchup against the Bucks or Sixers. The price for it is either via trade which needs another good or quality player if they want to get a player who can make a huge impact on their campaign. The Clippers are likely to start with Maurice Harkless to match the salary sheet.

Thaddeus Young is a veteran who played for five different teams including his new home the Chicago Bulls. He is stretch four who can bring the ball as a point guard. Young is a good scorer who averages double digits in his career. He had a handful of playoffs experience from the Sixers to Indiana.
