Spurs trade rumors update: Teams asking for Jakob Poeltl; Teams are not dying to help the Spurs

More than one day left with the trade deadline and the Spurs for the first time in six years. The last time they had a transaction in 2014 when they send out Nando De Colo to the Toronto Raptors for Austin Daye.

The San Antonio Spurs are shopping Demarre Carroll, Marco Belinelli, and Rudy Gay. The veteran Demarre Carroll was buried to the Spurs bench after signing a 3 year worth 21 million in last free agency. On the other hand, Spurs shooting guard veteran Marco Belinelli had no takers at these moments. While Rudy Gay asking price is too high.

There are reports that teams are asking for Jakob Poeltl but the Spurs asking too much in return. The Spurs big man is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. He’s been effective for San Antonio despite playing just 20 minutes per game.

As per Jabari Young, NBA scouts said teams are not going to help San Antonio get better as they dominated the league in 20 years. San Antonio has been in a playoff for the 22nd straight years. Five titles in six finals appearance. Only a small market team can do in the league which dominated by much richer teams.
