Spurs survived a thriller against the Grizzlies

The San Antonio Spurs are now back as the ninth seed after a win in a thriller fashion against the Memphis Grizzlies 108-106. They are also 2 games back of the Memphis as an eighth seed.

DeMar DeRozan recovered himself after faltered on his first two free throws to seal the game. The former All-Star baited Dillon Brooks to a foul with a second remaining, prior to this play Jaren Jackson Jr made a difficult corner three.

DeRozan made three clutch baskets in the fourth quarter before Memphis Grizzlies trying to steal the game after a 9-0 run. In the last 17 seconds, DeRozan made a tough fadeaway. He made all his three shots in the fourth quarter and focus on finding his teammates open as he dished 7 assists.

Dejounte Murray led the Spurs separation in the final quarter as he scored 10 points out of his 21 points. He also grabbed 10 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 assists. Murray played most of the fourth quarter who consistently hit his midrange. The guard leads the Spurs in minutes with 34, 13 minutes increased from the last game.

Derrick White continues his spectacular game with 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists. Lonnie Walker added 12 for the Spurs.

Patty Mills had 10 points who came back after missing the first game. Rudy Gay shoots awful tonight but manage to 12 points and hit a huge 2 three in the fourth after Grizzlies making a run. Keldon Johnson added 9 points and 6 rebounds. Then Drew Eubanks who played for more than 20 minutes after Jakob Poeltl is in foul trouble added 8 points.
