Spurs showed interest in Killian Hayes

The San Antonio Spurs began their campaign on searching good talent that could be added to their roster. Recently they interviewed Killian Hayes a point guard that played in a French League. This kid is quietly making his case to be a top-five pick and a sleeper to be one of the best in this class. In 33 games he played in France, Hayes averaged 11.6 points, 5.3 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game. The guard has quick hands as he steals the ball 1.5 times per game.

The Spurs already had multiple guards on the roster but the talent from the 19-year-old kid is something every team wants. The kid noted that he’s grateful to the Spurs for showing interest in him.

It could be very intriguing when Killian Hayes is available and the Spurs will pick him. Either they should trade to move up in the draft. The team starting point guard Dejounte Murray is still raw on his passing skills as he averaged 5 assists per game that throw turnover almost three times per game. DeMar DeRozan was forced to be a primary playmaker for the Spurs. With Hayes, they could have a real playmaker since Tony Parker playing in San Antonio.

The guard needs to develop his shooting touch from the arc consistently to become a threat in the court. Some Spurs fans believe in this kid’s potential to be a great star someday but worried about the logjam in the same position.

A great passer that finds open teammates in a perfect place. Hayes perfected a pick and roll play. He used to attack the lane to create an opening for others.

So never get questioned why the Spurs have interests in him.
