Spurs missed the opportunity for a third straight win

The Spurs story for the last two games is almost completely the same against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Until DeMar DeRozan misses two free throws to seal the game. The Spurs is down most of the game by 12 as the largest. They made a good run in the fourth when they take the lead as many as six. After DeRozan missed, the Cavaliers found Kevin Love for a game-tying three that forced to overtime. They lose too over time 117-109.

DeMar DeRozan had 21 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs who are coming from five days vacation. LaMarcus Aldridge had 18 points and nine boards which made his first field goal in the third quarter. Derrick White added 17 points while the bench had double figures from Patty Mills and Lonnie Walker IV with 10 apiece.

Kevin Love had 30 points with 4 of 9 from the arc, he made another triple in overtime when the lead is just one. Collin Sexton had 28 points while Jordan Clarkson had 25 off the bench.

The Spurs need a brilliant fourth quarter from Lonnie Walker IV who had six points. He played as a primary defender to Sexton and other Cavaliers guards which he excelled defensively. While DeRozan had a great playmaking and scoring on that span until the free throw. Also, the final possession where he forced to take a long jump shot.

Another heroic clutch moment by Marco Belinelli has been set aside as the Spurs suffered their 15th loss of the season. He made a clutch three and another layup from a good pass by LaMarcus Aldridge.

The next game of San Antonio Spurs will be on Saturday against the Phoenix Suns. The game will be held in Mexico City.
