Spurs can’t defend the arc fall to the Mavs 102-98

San Antonio Spurs cant defend the arc in the final quarter where Dallas Mavericks made 7 threes. They even put their largest lead to 17. The game is close at the end of three quarters where Rudy Gay converted a back to back threes at the end of the third. Until the Mavericks outscored the Spurs 21-11 in the first seven minutes of the fourth. Spurs made a 13-0 run in the last four minutes but still a loss.

DeMar DeRozan had 21 points but struggled to score consistently. While LaMarcus Aldridge who came out early after called for his fourth foul in the third. When he came back he failed to defend Kristaps Porsingiz hit the threes in a row.

Spurs they made the right way to defend but it’s too late as the time running out. DeRozan keeps on working at the paint with Forbes and White. They made a stop in the final play of the Mavericks but failed to execute in the last 14 seconds.

The Spurs can’t duplicate their impressive win over the Memphis Grizzlies. As they can’t miss on that game shooting 67%. They only shoot 27% from the arc all game. Spurs sniper of Marco, Patty, and Forbes just combined for zero of 12 from the rainbow. Only Rudy Gay was on his best when he made four from the arc. The veteran had 18 from the bench to keep the Spurs on the game. They now fall to 12-18 still out of the top eight.
