The Utah Jazz reportedly interested with San Antonio forward Demarre Carroll. They are now on the roll for a home run by taking homecourt advantage. Jazz had a ten game winning streak earlier in January before dropped four straight games.
Utah’s front office has at least “superficially” discussed the idea of targeting veteran forward DeMarre Carroll, who is on the trade block in San Antonio. Jones notes that there’s uncertainty about how much Carroll has left in the tank, given his down year with the Spurs.
The Utah Jazz needs depth and experience behind Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic at forward. If they think Carroll can still help them after sitting on the bench in San Antonio they will offer Ed Davis. As the veteran stated he wants to play more but things aren’t working out in Utah. They stated that a buyout is unlikely because Ed Davis 5 million salaries next season is fully guaranteed.
While DeMarre Carroll is a former Jazz before he blossomed his career with the Atlanta Hawks. Then take the opportunity to sign with the Toronto Raptors when he offered a lot of money before traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He signed with the Spurs for 3 years worth 21 million but it seems he’s barely playing with the team.
