Report: Kawhi Leonard “shit” out against the Blazers

Los Angeles Clippers All-Star will sit out due to injury management.

Clippers star Kawhi Leonard (injury management, left knee soreness) will NOT play today vs. Portland. The decision was just made. This is the same approach to back-to-backs the Clippers have taken all season with Kawhi. Clippers play Sunday, as well. Via Andrew Grief.

The Clippers already secured a spot in the playoffs. They are second in the West with a full game advantage over the Nuggets which home court didn’t matter. Paul George will likely lead the Clipper who has a tough loss against the Suns a day ago after the heroics of Devin Booker at the buzzer.

On the other hand, Blazers are now in control of their own fate to the final spot of Western Conference with four games left. They are 3-1 and most of all they add their best talent with Jusuf Nurkic and Zach Collins back from injury.

Patrick Beverly is still out for the Los Angeles Clippers while Hassan Whiteside likely to be out for the Blazers with a strained hip. The Blazers edged the Clippers in season series with a perfect 2-0.
