NBA Score: Spurs blow out the Pistons 136-109

The Spurs want to get revenge after their worst loss of the season almost a month ago in The Palace. DeMar DeRozan came out on fire at the half alone where he made 17 points on a 7 of 9 from the field. DeRozan helps the Spurs attacked in the third quarter where they scored 42 points. An advantage of 17 to enter the final quarter with 21 point lead. He keeps scoring from his midrange shot and finding wide open teammates. DeRozan found Mills and Gay with the three consecutive possession as they made three 3 points shot.

Spurs hit season-high 18 threes out 35 attempts. LaMarcus Aldridge accounted for five of it which he added 25 and 12 for the team. The All-Star big man is out due to injury on their first meeting. He took a lot of threes this season which he made it efficiently. Aldridge held the Pistons big of Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond to 33 points with 10 of 32 from the field.

Rudy Gay continued his hot streak from the arc as he converted four in this game. He tied his output in the Dallas game. While the Spurs gets 18 points from Brun Forbes and Dejounte Murray had 13. The Spurs improved to 13-18 still a ninth seed. They are one game behind the Portland Trail Blazers. They will face the Golden State Warriors before the year’s end.
