Luka Doncic led the Mavericks to pass the Pelicans with another historic game

The hype lived up to people’s expectations as the showdown between the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans. The game was close right from the start and they needed another five minutes to settle the game which Mavs win 127-123. Both teams answered each other run. The showdown between Luka Doncic and Zion Williamson is worth watching. The Slovenian sensation had 30 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists his 10th triple-double with a 30 point game. He’s been consistent all game and when his team needs him, he perfectly finds wide-open teammates. First, it was Seth Curry prior to overtime. Then after he made a clutch three, Luka perfectly set Kristapz Porsingiz into a pick and roll to give Dallas a 4 point cushion.

Dallas Mavericks is 22 of 50 from the arc who gets 34 points from Porsingiz together with 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Seth had 21 off the bench who made six triples out of his nine tries. Tim Hardaway Jr added 18 points while Delon Wright had 10 points.

The New Orleans Pelicans coming from a back to back the loss led by Brandon Ingram with his 27 points, Zion Williamson got 21, got 25 from Lonzo Ball which tied his career-high in make threes at seven. Jrue Holiday added 19 while fellow starters Derrick Favors added 19.

The Mavericks is 39-24 with a half-game behind the Oklahoma City Thunder. The two superstars of the team with Zion and Lika is definitely a franchise savior.
