Los Angeles Lakers build a ten-point lead early on the game and look to dominates and continue the impressive streak. Yet the Mavericks rally on the second and outscored the Lakers 35- 17. It’s a 28-5 run at the start of the second half that they build a 20 point lead. Luka Doncic scored 16 of his 27 points in this run, also help the Mavericks to held the Lakers into 17 points. Their lowest output in a quarter this season.
The Mavericks lead is simply too much to overcome for the Lakers. Dallas cruised to a 14 point win, marked their seventh in the last eight games. Luka Doncic is a rebound shy away for a triple-double ending with 27 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds for 10 of 23 from the field. Doncic started the game 2 of 9. Delon Wright helps him with his 17 points off the bench, and both Kristaps Porzingis and Dwight Powell added 15 each.
Anthony Davis lead the Lakers with a double-double finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds, James had 25 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.
