Lonnie Walker IV Showed a lot of Promise in Limited Minutes

In six minutes of playing in second quarter, Lonnie Walker IV, the 18th pick of 2018 NBA draft, played well. He had 4 points,1 rebound, a steal and an assist. It was a good sign for the Spurs that this guard from Miami can be a star someday aside from his hairstyle that can catch your attention.

The first play he had is the cut where he missed a lay up. But it was a good sign that can make him a dangerous threat cause he can play off the ball. He also run in a transition to score. His aggressiveness in attacking drew a foul and got his two free throws.

On defense side, he made a steal and he didn’t miss guarding Eric Gordon. His awareness will make him the best basketball player someday. Late in the season he is gaining some confident in a game. He was ready for everything.

This Spurs project will be fitting well for them, and he is going to be good like Dejounte Murry, who won a second in all defensive team in the second season. Derrick White is playing well now and deserves some vote for most improve or all defense team.
