LeBron James’ one of the greatest but he’s not on the same level as Jordan, Kobe, and Duncan

LeBron James just won his fourth championship for the tenth time of trying. He’s the first player to win Finals MVP on three different teams. James breaks record after records into his path of greatness. LeBron fans put their man as the greatest player compared to anybody who had more success than him. Not only his fans but other guys who played with him. But James’ greatness isn’t on the same level as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan. This not an insult but these three icons work differently. LeBron James made a shortcut to his success which is a series away to win the championship by teaming up with prime Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami. Another great guard Kyrie Irving and an All-Star Kevin Love in Cleveland and now with Anthony Davis in Lakers uniform.

As a team, you need great teammates to win. These three legends had a bunch of it but before they reached that peak they work their butts off. When the Cavaliers trying to build around him, he takes advantage and quit with his team. Then LeBron James traded most of the guys to ready and proven teammates to compete. When he brought his talent to the Miami Heat, Dwyane Wade is a Finals MVP and All NBA talent. Chris Bosh led the Toronto Raptors to the postseason in five straight years. He’s only averaging 20+ points and 10 rebounds.

While Michael Jordan, lose to the Detroit Pistons in the playoffs from 1988 to 1990 he comes back strong and figured it out with the same team which LeBron James failed to do. In 1991, Jordan humiliated the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals via swept. The Chicago Bulls went to the NBA Finals for the first time against the Los Angeles Lakers and win their first championship. The Bulls assemble their team around Michael Jordan and experience disappointment. But these guys work out to figure out everything which means Jordan never quits on his team. From Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, John Paxson, and Craig Hodges. They need years to work for a dynasty in the making and put Jordan above all in terms of competition.

Secondly, one of the most underrated greatest players Tim Duncan also had failures to coming shortly to win a title. After the 1999 first championship, Tim Duncan and the aging San Antonio Spurs becomes the second-best team in Western Conference far behind the Los Angeles Lakers. The Spurs had no great guys outside of Tim Duncan. David Robinson is old and on his way into retirement. Spurs have beaten badly by the duo of Shaq and Kobe. Instead of becoming a diva, Tim Duncan comes back strong and defeated the Los Angeles Lakers then wins his second title. This could be the greatest run by any championship team. Duncan’s palm a run with 38-year-old Robinson, rookie Ginobili, unproven Parker, and Jackson and a bunch of old guys. Remember this one Duncan turned down a chance to have a great team in Orlando. Tim Duncan suffered a heartbreaking loss against the Lakers in 2004, Dallas Mavericks in 2006, and Spurs are 28 seconds to win their fifth title. But all of these Duncan’s back and defeat the odds.

The last one was Kobe Bryant, after a huge success with Shaquille O’Neal to win a three feat they broke up. While O’Neal wins in Miami, Kobe had struggles in Los Angeles. They lost to the Phoenix Suns in playoffs for two consecutive years. But Kobe never gives up and even there’s some rumored that he wants to get out of Los Angeles he continued to play. Then in 2008, they were back in the NBA Finals but humiliated in a game six by the Boston Celtics. After that shortcoming, Kobe and the Lakers won back to back titles.

In his career, he never tried to put his guys on his back when they need him as a leader. When Miami loss to the Spurs, James take advantage of the opportunity to come back to Cleveland at the expense of Andrew Wiggins the first pick overall at that time to get traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. After the Cavaliers suffered a total breakdown in the hands of the Golden State Warriors, James switch to the Lakers which could sign a max player.

Yes, the numbers speak for himself but a championship win by the other three legends is worth than LeBron James four. The greatness of the three on the next level that is unreachable by anybody anytime soon.
