Kawhi Leonard is just another good type of a player

The Los Angeles Clippers have been hyped to be the best team in Los Angeles or the whole league in general. They signed the best two-way player in free agency and another superstar via trade. They had depth who made a great run last season that pushed a healthy Golden State Warriors a great challenge in the playoffs. They also add tough guys last trade deadline and from the buyout market. The fruit of the labor was a second seed that looks ready to go in the playoffs.

Kawhi Leonard and Los Angeles Clippers got a huge 3-1 series lead against the Denver Nuggets. In both games five and six, they have a double-digit lead in the second half. But the Denver Nuggets overcame the odds and complete the comeback to win the series in seven games.

In Los Angeles, Leonard was exposed. The lack of leadership from himself cost them a run for the championship. In deciding game seven, he shoots 6 of 22 which 27%, got no free throw attempts who only totaled for 14 points. Superstar isn’t supposed to do this kind of performance. The Los Angeles Clippers sold their future for this run. Leonard has never been aggressive all game with some hesitation.

The only thing Leonard had a championship is he got a top-five player in the name of Tim Duncan. Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker’s hard works to help him mold his talent. Of course, having a great coach of all time Gregg Popovich will put him on top. Leonard’s lack of influence to put a group with talents around him made them a loser. The truth is building a franchise and make him a centerpiece is a huge mistake. He didn’t really have a huge impact when the team needs him. Spurs 2014 run is impressive, but it’s a total team effort. Been great against LeBron James defensively but Tim Duncan’s presence is enough to bother James. The Toronto Raptors championship is just another lucky thing in which the real MVP is injuries. There’s no way the Raptors can surpass the healthy Warriors. They just win a title when Klay Thompson tore his ACL in the third quarter.

Leonard is fortunate on every run he made that somebody saves his ass to win. If you think this is hate, you’re wrong that’s the truth.
