Spurs point guard Derrick White missed the last game against the Washington Wizard with left foot soreness. The Spurs will play the Sixers tomorrow night on the road and he remains questionable.
That’s an upgrade for White, who will likely test the foot at shootaround before making a decision. How he’ll fit in the rotation is unclear because Gregg Popovich hasn’t played him alongside Dejounte Murray, yet Murray came off the bench on Wednesday with Patty Mills starting. It doesn’t bode well for White.
Derrick White comes off the bench when Dejounte Murray started for the team. This season White had 9.9 points, 2.9 boards and 2.9 assists per game. The Spurs are currently 5-10 and on a seven-game losing skid.
