DeRozan: I don’t prefer social media

The speculation comes out when DeMar DeRozan clear his Instagram and unfollow some of his teammates. Same as he did last year when he found he was traded to San Antonio Spurs. But after the game against the Timberwolves, he made it clear that he doesn’t like distractions at this moment.

With the Spurs are 3-13 for this month of November they found themselves at the bottom of the Western Conference standings. Slightly ahead against the Memphis Grizzlies and former contender Golden State Warriors. The Spurs is three games behind for the eight spot.

The Spurs need now to focus on themselves if they want to continue the playoff streak and find some momentum into it. They had veterans like LaMarcus Aldridge an All-Star last year but it seems it isn’t enough to get a win. They are expected to improve as a team with the depth they had but it seems they are heading in the wrong direction.

DeRozan is in playoffs since 2014 with the Toronto Raptors as he also leads the team reached Conference Finals in 2016 before losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games. With the Spurs, they had a good run against the second-seeded Denver Nuggets last year. As a team, they need to come as one together with only one thing in mind. Work hard as a group and translate into a win. Which tanking isn’t an option to get better.
