DeMar DeRozan joins a feat that great players made in the last 25 years

Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan had playing basketball on the next level of his career. Efficient basketball at most in the last twelve games. That’s why he earned a Western Conference player of the week. It’s the tenth time of his career, first as a Spur.

Justin Kubatko: The @San Antonio Spurs DeMar DeRozan has averaged 27.3 PPG with a 65.1 FG% over his last 12 games. The only other players in the last 25 seasons to average 25+ PPG with a 65+ FG% over a 12-game span are LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Amar’e Stoudemire, and Shaquille O’Neal. via Twitter jkubatko

In the last twelve games, the Spurs went to 6-6. The most highlights of their victory have they beaten the best teams in the league. First the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtic with a convincing win which they dominated right from the start. Then the Toronto Raptors after overcoming an 18 point deficit.

With his play, DeRozan is a strong candidate to play in the All-Star game which he missed last year.
