Dejounte Murray Season Preview

The 23-year-old point guard from Washington State sat for a whole year with an ACL injury. Murray’s rise to becoming a great player has been in a pause in a moment. In his last healthy year, he improved to 81 games with 48 starts. As a result, he was selected to Second All-Defensive Team.

Dejounte Murray’s training work out seems to be alright. He is putting basket to the rim using a smooth jumper. That was a good sign that he is working to improve his weakness.

The fourth-year guard was known for his good defense. Having long arms to reach for a steal and grabbing boards was huge. It was a huge advantage for him in his position. If he keeps working better then he could be a top ten point guard in the league.

In 2018, he averaged six rebounds for just 22 minutes of play. That was a huge help for the team that ranks 21st and dead last in steals. The primary objective with him is to boost the defense.

Dejounte’s weakness in the offense should the one needs a lot of improvements. To make his teammates better and create opportunities in a half-court setup.
