Three Positive Things in Alaska loss

With the first loss against the Colombian last Friday night. It doesn’t mean all negative, every game is a learning moment to mature in big games. With a little short of a come back they can’t carry the momentum in the fourth quarter.

Here are the good things for Alaska Aces loss last game.

Justine Watts

The import scored 40 points with 15 boards. He did it by attacking the basket and using teammates’ screen to bang a three. There is no weakness in his offensive game. The better for the Aces who need a scorer when like last game that Chris Banchero went off.

Jasper Ayaay

The rookie had nine points, with the injury of Jeron Teng he played his role. Give tough defense and energy. Hustle points for him as he scored on putback. He tallied two offensive boards.

Abu Tratter

On his debut game as an Alaska, he fitted well without demanding the ball on his hands. A good sign for them who still figuring each other game. Even he was dominated by Alston he does his part offensively.

They need to work on a team defense that they allowed the import to play one on one. They didn’t figure out how to shut down the paint. Which Alston take advantage of it every time he made his move.
