Spurs getting younger as they’re ready for training camp

In recent years the Spurs was labeled as an old. With the aging core of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker. With the 2019-20 season is officially back. Spurs released their training camp roster that will start on October 2.

The team was scheduled to attend the physical test, media and etc today before playing the Orlando Magic for the first preseason game on Saturday.

They had nineteen listed as official training camp roster. With the likely two cuts, the two were a two-way contract. Then fifteen is the official roster when the season starts. The oldest on the team is LaMarcus Aldridge who is now 34 years old entering his 13th season. They had six players who had 10 or more years of experience in the league.

Five of them were a rookie that includes Keldon Johnson and Luka Samanic who only 19 years old. Eight of the final 19 already had an experience of four years and below. They are in the range of 20 to 26 years old.

Patty Mills was the longest Spurs tenure that started in 2012.
