San Antonio Spurs Fans Wish # 1 achieved, Defeated Nuggets 101-96

Having a foul trouble early in the game made the Spurs to adjust. Derrick White called for his quick two right into the first three minutes of the game. Then Lamarcus Aldridge got his third on second quarter to sit on the bench for the remaining of first half.

The good thing was Rudy Gay on fire on the stretch helped by Bryn Forbes to extend the lead at 8. Third quarter went after the Spurs made the first basket, and went to miss the next nine attempts, White went to dunk over Paul Millsap.

Denver never take a lead or tied it after 17-13. The closest was 88 87 and 97 96, they had a chance to win the game but Jamal Murray missed in last 7 seconds and when he went to tie the game, Derrick White stole the ball and sunk two clutch free throws.

Demar DeRozan had 18 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, Aldridge got 15 and 8 which in foul trouble early. Game 2 set on Denver on Tuesday night.
