Missed Opportunities, Spurs lost to the Hornets in Overtime 125-116

They just need one stop in the final 96 seconds up by two points but Kemba Walker quickly tied it. Demar DeRozan who scored ten consecutive, missed his two final shots, one is for a game winner, after he gave the Spurs a two point lead.

In overtime the Hornets went to a 9-0 run led by Kemba Walker and take the win and still alive for the eight spot in Easter Playoff race. DeRozan led the Spurs with his 30 points and 8 rebounds, Lamarcus Aldridge who scored 48 in Boston was limited to 20 points and been timid in fourth quarter.

Derrick White played his worst game, as he only got four points all coming from free throws in fourth quarter, 0-10 from the field and 3 turnovers and also missed to defend Kemba Walker when they up by two. Spurs missed the opportunities to go up in West standings and back to the eight spot.

They couldn’t contain the All Star guard of Hornets as he erupted with 38 points 11 of it in fourth quarter, and seven in Overtime. Dwayne Bacon helped him with his career high 24 points.

They struggled in overtime as they made only one shot out of eight, where the Hornets build a 10 point lead. Marco Belinelli and Rudy Gay combined for 33 points off the bench but Patty Mills lay an egg for tonight’s game.
