Australia beat the USA led by Patty Mills

For the first time in thirteen years Australia beaten USA 98-94. This is the second game of the series where the Team USA win 102-86. They need Patty Mills to scored the final 10 points for the Boomers. From three to an open jump shot and in the rim Mills was on fire as he made final four attempts.

The game was close since the start when Australia building momentum in the second quarter. The USA still find a way to make it close and take a point halftime lead.

In third-quarter USA building, a 9 point lead until the Australian makes their own run. They had a two-point lead after three quarters. In the game that matters most Patty Mills was a hero to his hometown. He scored 13 of his 30 points in the fourth. The Boomers spread the points. Players who played in NBA scored in double figures Bogut had 16, Ingles 15 and Baynes had 12.

The Americans led by Kemba Walker with 22 points. Barnes added 20 and Mitchell had only 12 who struggled to get his minutes because of foul trouble. Team USA will play the Canadian on August 26.
